My name is Ashley Ranich.

I am a sister, daughter, Problem Child, brat, emergency contact, writer, almost economist… Ex-tech, entertainment, non-profit, fine arts, culture, NBA, corporate marketer, Korean-American adoptee living and plotting in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. :^)

I still love big projects, good stories, working at a breakneck speed, and finding weird, but optimal solutions… and then convincing people to employ them.

I consult on marketing, communications, & partnerships strategy. I’m at my best working on high-impact, hard to define, but too good to pass up, projects.

Recently: I’m exploring an upfront, ethical artistic practice with AI and positing the urgent need for its widespread adoption (by real people, not just Big Tech) in the midst of the Fourth Technological Revolution.

Past Lives: I’ve spent over a decade working in The Streets, service industry, tech startups, live events, fine art, nonprofits, music & culture, publishing, corporate offices, and the NBA before letting it all go (and convincing my friends I’ve lost my mind) in the pursuit of spending my hours thinking, writing, reading, and still working on things that I actually find value and meaning in.
